I have a strong interest in replicating the classic Hollywood glamour look of the 1930's and 1940's. Great Hollywood photographers such as George Hurrell and Clarence Sinclair Bull were some of the gifted photographers
who revolutionized the types of pictures made of Hollywood's greatest stars of the
decades of 1930 and 1940. The
highly stylized, sensual studio portraits of the great and soon-to-be-great
stars became the epitome of Hollywood glamour and mystery for a Depression-weary
movie going public.
What resulted was a stunning photographic transformation – a fantasy of
beauty and perfection, "The stuff dreams are made of" as one of Hurrell’s
subjects is often quoted as saying.
The slide show at right shows my beginnings - some examples
of my Hollywood Glamour images interspersed with some images from george hurrell, clarence sinclair bull, Clarence Sinclair Bull, and other classic Hollywood glamour photographers.

In 2009 I will be expanding the Classic Hollywood Glamoursecton of my Web site. For only a limited time, I will be willing to offer a no-cost Time for Images session to capture these style images, and I will be looking for interested photogenic people to participate.
I already have many authentic items of clothing, props, and period pieces to use in replicating that classic Hollywood glamour look. If you have an interest in working with me in being photographed in the style of the great Hollywood photographers,
to discuss the possibilities of a Time for Images session at no cost to you.
Important: Classic Hollywood Glamour photography as photographed in the 1930's and 1940's did not involve nudity. I
do not photograph nudity or implied nudity. The limits on my work
is best summed in this question: "Could you print
the image in a family newspaper?" If the answer is "no," then
there is my boundary.
